Nanos were invented by two young geniuses.
Nanos were created by the unlikely team of Dexter and Mandark. Alien invasion has a way of bringing enemies together.
Nanos are "good guy" versions of Fusions.
Nanos are the hero counterpart to Fusions. They are created with the same basic technology: the combination of Fusion Matter with a hero's personal item that contains their essence -- like Blossom's hair bow or Samurai Jack's sandal. Even though Nanos are much smaller than most Fusions, they're just as powerful!
Every Nano you create will require slightly more Fusion Matter than the last.
The more Nanos you have, the more Fusion Matter you'll need for each new Nano. New Nanos have to bond with you and all your other Nanos, and that takes more raw elements each time.
Nano combat works much like a game of rock/paper/scissors.
Monsters and Nanos are divided into three types, each made out of a slightly different type of Fusion Matter - Adaptium (A), Blastons (B) or Cosmix (C). These different types trump one another very much like a game of rock/paper/scissors. Type A's trump type B's, type B's trump type C's, and type C's trump type A's.
As an extra visual cue for players, if your Nano trumps a monster, a check mark is displayed next to the monster's health status. If your Nano is evenly matched to the monster (neither has an advantage), an equal sign is displayed. If your Nano is trumped by the monster, an "x" symbol will display.
Tired Nanos can be restored with a Nano Potion.
Keep a tired Nano active by giving it a Nano Potion. If you've got Nano Potions available, use the C key on your keyboard to restore your Nano's stamina!
Nano Potions are sometimes dropped by defeated monsters. They're also sold by vendors, so you can stock up any time.
Nano powers get a boost from Gumballs!
Giving a Nano a Gumball makes it more powerful for a short time - until the gum loses its flavor. Gumballs can be picked up in C.R.A.T.E.s or purchased from a vendor. Gumballs come in flavors specially formulated for the three different Nano types -- Adaptium (A), Blastons (B) or Cosmix (C). If you want to give one of your Nanos a Gumball, make sure it's the right flavor!
Nanos LOVE to dance!
Nanos are known for their dance moves. If your character is dancing, so is your Nano!
